Last night I attended the Frigidaire event in SOHO. Making my way through the “sprinkling snow”, I was happy to arrive in a warm inviting space. The hors d’oeuvre were excellent and the kitchen was beautifully prepped for Chef’s Anne Burell and Johnny Luzzini. Each spoke about the latest state of the art technology from Frigidaire and talked about the benefits of “induction” in the kitchen. Each chef prepared their “Valentine” meal as an example of easy things we could cook for our loved ones for VDay! As I’ve said before… I’m not a huge fan of cooking, so anytime I hear “easier” – I’m listening!!! Continue reading Test your Induction I.Q.
J&R introduces J&R Jr.
This past weekend I was lucky enough to attend the blogger event for the newest downtown “mecca” children’s outpost…. J&R Jr. It was so nice to see the amazing turnout of local bloggers and their children.
While taking photos for the event I found myself constantly paying attention to details and let’s just say there was no shortage of that! Everything from the food to the entertainment was outstanding and I have no doubts J&R Jr. will shine as the newest kid on the block. Upon entering the vast space, one can easily see how this is the place to be for children’s gear! Continue reading J&R introduces J&R Jr.
The “NEW” Atkins Cookbook
I had the honor today of attending the most fabulous luncheon hosted by “The Moms“. The event was held at “Donna Karan’s Weiss Studios” in the West Village. I never turn down a chance to visit my old hood and I had a nice quick trip down memory lane after the event. On this cold winter day, it was great mingling with my favorite bloggers and discussing the delicious food that was on hand. Continue reading The “NEW” Atkins Cookbook
Go See This! Stick Fly on Broadway
I had the privilege of attending the performance of “Stick Fly” this past Saturday night. As a guest of “The Moms” I went solo to check out this performance that I have heard so much about.
Leave it to me to get turned around in Times Sq. of all places, but I finally made it to the theater in time for the opening act. I was extra excited to see RENT royalty Jessie L. Martin and Rosario Dawson sitting nearby in the audience. Continue reading Go See This! Stick Fly on Broadway
Summer in the City Part II
Summer has officially come to an end and what a summer it was! I was lucky to have escaped an earthquake but not so lucky with Hurricane Irene. Other than the highly irritable weather, the rest of my summer was excellent! After years of being a non-driving New Yorker, I decided to jump behind the wheel, load up my GPS and was set free! I drove from one end of the Hamptons to the other for the good part of August. I met my clients on the beaches and in their homes and had the most amazing family photos shoots that I will never forget! There was sand, water, smiles, wind, and rain but everything worked out in the end just as it should! Continue reading Summer in the City Part II
