Citibabes Playdate

Citibabes in Soho recently hosted a fabulous playdate for my son’s Pre-K class at Spruce Street School.  He and his classmates all met in their incredible 1,500 square feet space.
We purposely arrived early to eat lunch at the brand new Junior’s Fresh cafe that has just opened.  They had such a healthy selection of food including all farm fresh ingredients. We had organic chicken fingers, mac n cheese, sliced veggies, freshly made yogurt and fruit.  The entire cafe was packed during lunchtime so it’s a great thing there was plenty of space to sit and relax before our playdate. Red Carpet Stokke Night Out

This past Monday night I attended a fabulous Stokke event. With a Red Carpet theme and in fine company with Stella & Dot Jewelry + Brahmin handbags, it was a great night!  I have been obsessed with Stokke products since the birth of my son. I have always been intrigued by the sleek design, modern look, and functionality of all their products. Apparently I am not the only one as the MoMa uses the infamous high chair “Tripp Trapp” in their cafes in place of generic chairs.  I was so happy to view the latest strollers from this Norwegian line with at the super cool Glasshouse location in Chelsea.  The new Crusi and lightweight Scoot are 2 new fantastic editions to the Stokke Family.  Continue reading Red Carpet Stokke Night Out

Annie on Broadway – it’s a hard knock life

If you are a girl or boy older than 25, I’m sure you have seen (or as a brother) been forced to see Annie a million times. I remember being ever so slightly obsessed with Annie as a kid buying the red curly wig, wearing a locket, and parading around my house singing all the catchy songs. I used to watch Annie on my old school video recorder countless times!

When I heard Annie was playing on Broadway I could not wait to re-live the moments again. I remember how Sarah Jessica Parker played Annie on stage when she was young and was anxious to see what talent was found to capture this larger than life role!
