Celebrating the Chinese New Year with Smarter Toddler
This month at Smarter Toddler has been spent learning about China. The children have been so busy creating projects and learning about the special customs and traditions of this great country. The month has ended with a celebration of the Chinese New Year. Once again, we are so happy to attend such a thoughtful school with an emphasis on all cultures and an opportunity to celebrate diversity. New things are happening at Smarter Toddler in the New Year!
It’s safe to say our family enjoyed every minute of the holidays. We spent the special time with our family members and enjoyed the sights of the city. There is never a shortage of fun holiday activities in New York City and once again we feel so lucky to live in the greatest city in the world. We attended tree lightings, made gingerbread houses and enjoyed some outdoor ice skating, We also saw some live classic holiday performances like The Nutcracker & Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. We saw Santa at Macy’s department store and also lit the candles on our menorah in our home. It was such a magical time and seeing the excitement in our children’s eyes made it even better! Celebrate New Year’s Eve with the whole family at Eataly NYC Downtown
Every year my husband and I have the same conversation of discussing plans for New Year’s Eve. Every other year we are just back from Holiday travels so we are more than happy to stay in and relax with the kids. On the off years we try to plan something more “adult” and kids free.
