Back To School Bash with Momtrends

My summer would not be complete without attending the annual Back to School Bash with Momtrends. This year it was bigger and better than ever with so many amazing brands. There were some I’ve connected with before and, as always, there were some new brands on the scene. This year was extra special for me because my 5 year old daughter came along to be apart of the back to school fashion show! She crushed it by the way!

My daughter immediately spotted the manicure station and quickly took a seat. Of course I’d be a terrible mother if I let her sit there all alone so I joined in the fun picking out an Essie nail color as well! I learned during my mani about the wonderful service mani or pedi provides. Maniorpedi.com is a premiere New York City mobile nail salon and they will come directly to your home or office. What could be better than that? They also use only the best polish and mine stayed on a very long time.

My kids are never without a full supply of Stonyfield products in our refrigerator. My girls really drink multiple yogurt smoothies each and every day. I was beyond excited to learn yet another major win for all the busy moms our there. The new organic snack packs from Stonyfield are going to be a huge hit. They are just now arriving in stores and give some variety to a basic yogurt product. There are both pretzel and graham cracker combinations and I can’t wait for my kids to try (ok, and me too!)

What kid doesn’t love orange juice? Natalie’s Orchard Island Juice was on hand to show off some off their latest flavor combinations. Of course the classic is always a win, but the blood orange was hands down my fav! They also offer strawberry lemonade and tangerine just to name a few. Mom hint: add a splash of prosecco for an extra wow factor! I won’t tell!

Tea clothing has always been brand I love and trust for great quality and fashionable kids clothes. I learned at an influencer dinner recently that Tea seeks out local artist from various places to bring the beauty of international cultures to their designs. As quoted by Tea….. their clothing is for the fun and fearless!

Cheese is always a staple in our household. My son is the biggest fan (besides myself) and he has always loved Jarlsberg. When I visited their booth at the back to school bash I questioned myself and wondered why I only buy it for holidays or special occasions. Chef George Duran was showing off how to mix it up and add some creativity to a regular grilled cheese. A crowd favorite was the Apricot Jam & Bacon Cheese Sandwich. I know my son will love me more for this!

My daughter rocked an adorable bathing suit from Snapperrock Swimwear. They have some really fun styles including matching mommy and me and also daddy and me. All of their suits are also UPF 50. Harper loved her one piece and she’s been wearing it plenty these last warm days by the pool.

Without the convenience of Mabel’s Labels, our back to school experience would not be near as pleasant! We’ve been using these labels since my son was three and it never ceases to amaze me what a great product this is. Mabel’s Labels truly thinks of it all.  The classic back to school combo pack has everything you need. I personally love the shoe stickers and my kids love the personalized mini tags for their backpacks.

Avery has you covered with any special school supply your son or daughter needs. I’m in love with the newest collection of whimsical binders, divers and folders. The classic items still exist but now they are just a whole lot more “fun!” The rainbow inspired folders are everything!

Something not so fun to talk about but definitely necessary is head lice! If your child is around other kids at school, they are potentially exposed to head lice. Knock on wood we have been in the clear but it’s great to know that if we do get it, I will for sure use Vamousse. The easy mousse application kills 100% lice and eggs in 15 minutes. The Vamousse team styled Harper’s hair and i’ve bever seen her smile bigger!

I have noticed on my social media channels that some kids around the country have already started school. Lucky for us NYC kids we have a few more weeks but we will all be going back to school at some point! I wish every parent a happy end to summer and seamless transition to the new school year!

XOXO,
Suzanne
