Every Winter in New York City, you can always be sure to spot the Elmo balloons floating around the city. Kids hold on to these like a grand prize on the streets and in the subways. I found out myself what it was all about when my son was 1. I remember taking him to his first Sesame Street Live performance and when he saw his favorite characters live on stage his entire face lit up.
