Party Like an Italian at Eataly Downtown’s New Year’s Eve Family Celebration

For every parent the words “New Year’s Eve” brings on a new meaning. Typically for many of us we are no longer out ringing in the New Year at a fancy gathering or toasting champagne glasses at midnight with our nearest and dearest 500 friends! (ha)

Our new normal the past many years has been spent watching the same ol’ New Year’s television broadcast and watching the ball drop in Times Square in our pajamas. Some years our kids have made it up to watch the clock strike midnight but now with 3 kids I’m sure this will not happen.

Last year we were thrilled to find there was  a “Family friendly” New Years Eve event happening at Eataly Downtown. As New Yorker’s, Eataly is one of our favorite places to go. The food is always amazing, as is the wine and ambiance. We love bringing friends and family here to show off the spectacular space and unique experience.

I’m so happy to announce Eataly is offering the same New Year’s Eve event this year. When the clock strikes 12 in Italy (6 p.m. in New York) families can celebrate like an Italian! The kids get to blow their horns and shout “Happy New Year” without having to wait until midnight.

Our favorite part of the New Year’s Eve celebration at Eataly is the full Italian menu for both adults and kids. Parents also can enjoy ever-flowing Prosecco throughout the evening while littles ones can sip on kid-approved mocktails. Even the pickiest of eaters are sure to find something they love and trust me they will!

Last year my kids had a blast. This year I’m sure my youngest one will be running alongside the older ones engaging in the fun activities like hands-on games, pizza making, holiday cookie decorating, face painting and more. There will also be a photo booth this year to document the family fun! I’m really excited about this because last year my kids were too excited to even sit still for a photo for me!

From experience I learned this event sells out quickly. To purchase tickets please see the details below. https://bit.ly/2018eataly

Happy New Year!
