When I first discovered the children’s store, Applike Couture, I knew this was a store I would love by the vast selection of carefully selected trending merchandise and super cute accessories. Located on a quiet street on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, this family owned store continues to thrive with a constant stream of satisfied parents and kids alike.
Most often times I leave my kids at home when shopping for their clothes, but this is the one store I make sure to bring them in. I’m constantly sidetracked by the large selection of amazing ready to wear pieces by my favorite designers like Zara Terez, Butter, ADD, and Flowers by Zoe just to name a few! I can’t get enough of the fun designs, happy vibes, and serious girl power looks! They also have boy clothing and I can always find my son something as well.
Applike Couture has a big surprise in the back of the store….. their very own appliqué machine is the best thing around for personalizing all sorts of merchandise. My daughter and son always love to pick out an appliqué or patch for t-shirts, sweatshirts and even headbands! My daughter typically goes for the crystal versions and my son sticks to the patches.
The store owner, Felicia Wollerstein, has been in the children’s clothing industry for over 30 year. No one know the kids fashion business better and she has a great relationship with many fun brands that she brings to her store each season. Felicia is ahead of the game for fashion must haves and really appeals to the kid who wants to have fun and look cute doing it! She knows how to instantly wardrobe any child and always amazes me with her ability to read my mind and recommend the best pieces that suit my children.
With such a wide range of items, Applike Couture is truly a one stop shop. You can find adorable infant, toddler, boy,s and girls clothing items and their new in house brand, Dezigns by Applike Couture,is amazing. For those in need of a gift whether, newborn or birthday, I would highly recommend stopping in. The sales staff is extremely knowledgeable and can easily recommend the perfect item and wrap it up on the spot.

Applike Couture truly offers such a unique experience to the consumer (both parent and child) by allowing them to create their own merchandise with fun appliqués. I have stopped in many times to buy something or create a special outfit like I did for my daughter’s 1st birthday celebration. I was so happy to have a place that I could create exactly what I wanted with the help of the staff.
Birthday Parties are a BIG DEAL at Applike Couture. The kids have such a great time designing and creating their own clothing items. I had my daughter’s past birthday here and the kids made a light- weight sweatshirt that was so much fun! Patches and appliqués are all the rage right now and with so many fun ones to choose from the options are limitless. My daughter still talks about her epic party!
