A Totally Tiki Party at NY Kids Club

The New York Kids Club is New York’s premier children’s enrichment center we go way back! It was one of the first places I signed my son up for classes over 8 years ago at their 22nd Street location. As a toddler, he loved the play space and as a mom I loved the ultra clean environment, inviting staff, and a calendar of exciting programs to choose from.

Fast forward 5 years and I found myself back at the NY Kids Club, but this time with my daughter at a new location in Tribeca. It was as if I had slipped back in time re- living all the fun moments and watching her face light up as I did with my son. Sure, there have been some little updates here and there, but for the most part it was the same experience that my son had enjoyed so much! My 2 year old daughter is also at the perfect age to enjoy all the fun classes and she loves it too!

As a dedicated parent to the NY Kids Club, you can only imagine my surprise when I was asked to be an ambassador. I didn’t have to think at all before answering yes. I have always been such a fan and now I have the opportunity to help spread the word about NY Kids Club.

As a new parent ambassador to the NY Kids Club, I decided to have a little kick off event and host a summer themed party. Harper and Harlow’s Totally Tiki Party was last week at the Tribeca location and everything was just amazing!

I got slightly carried away with so many cute ideas available for Tiki Parties (Thanks Pinterest & Etsy!) I incorporated some lanterns from my daughter’s 1st birthday and added some fun decor and snacks. The girls really loved their grass skirts and everyone received a lei.

I love all things bright and colorful when it comes to parties. Once I decided my Tiki theme, the staff really helped me work through options and we nailed down every last detail before the party. The location manager came up with a super creative art project. The children absolutely loved making the paper crowns and they tied in perfectly with the party.

The gym was transformed with Hawaiian drawings on the trampoline and a “volcano” game was even played as an activity. The parties at NY Kids Club are always run so seamlessly and the staff really knows how to transition from one thing to the next without interrupting the flow.

My son who is a little older was perfectly happy swinging on the parallel bars and making his little sister laugh. The NY Kids Club is a great place to host a party if you have children and siblings with varying ages because there really is something for everyone!

No party would be complete without a dance party! Harper really loved the bubblies and disco lights enjoying herself to the very last minute.

After some pizza and cupcakes the kids had a final chance to run around before collecting their party favors and balloons. The staff once again really took charge and made sure everything ran smoothly leaving me free to chat with my guests. This is so wonderful and I can’t thank NY Kids Club enough for making our Totally Tiki Party so special!
