Children’s Club: What’s new for Spring & Summer

This past weekend I visited the Children’s Club in NYC. This is a way  for me to see the upcoming and trending looks for Spring and Summer 2017. I was so impressed with all the brands and can’t wait for warm weather again!

Of course the candy and fruit craze is still going strong. Girls love to see their favorite foods on shirts, leggings, dresses, backpacks and more! I love this shirt from Chaser Brand…. the watermelon really pops off the shirt! As always, their fabric is so soft and wearable.

Many brands had their beautiful spring dresses on display. One of my favorite collections was from Luna Luna Collection. The dresses were magical, fluffy, and overall something out of a fairy tale. These dresses would make any little girl fee like a princess. Not only are their dresses beautiful but they are also comfortable and surprisingly soft. The colors were also amazing! There is a light sea foam green in the collection that is stunning as well.

The Nanette Lepore girls collection also had some stand out pieces. Inspired by paintings, the colors, styles and design was perfection! I loved this little blue one piece and can see my daughter in it!

I noticed a huge trend of metallics in my favorite neutral tones including my absolute favorite rose gold. These sneakers from Old Soles were my top item to have for Spring and Summer 2017. The wing detail is just the best! I also noticed the modified gladiator is back and cuter than ever!

I discovered a new brand called Oh Baby brand that was also using bits of metallics in their upcoming line. I love everything about this brand included the tutus, headpieces, crowns and more! Your little one ‘s imagination will run wild with these fun loving designs. The character “Metal Bunny” really caught my eye!

Denim and patches was another huge trend. Distressed denim and denim with details was seen everywhere!

One of my favorite local designers, Sierra and Julian was also showing off their new collection with fabulous mix and match pieces. The patterns were unique and I love how everything can be interchanged.

I’m really excited to see these trends in the stores and all around this coming year!
