TwirlyGirl is a company I recently had the pleasure of discovering. This company is so awesome because they truly celebrate everything it means to “be a girl”. Twirly girl completely embraces the power of the girl and urges a young girl and tween to run, play, do cartwheels, and of course twirl!
The colors and designs are so bright and bold. A young girl can really show off her personality by selecting a super fun dress and making a statement wherever she chooses to go. TwirlyGirl designs are extremely unique (just like the girls who wear them) and hand made in small quantities. The dresses, cardigans, hoodies and leggings are truly one of a kind!
My daughter is 2 and she recently wore the adorable original reversible twirly dress. Each side has a unique pattern and looks like a completely different dress when reversed. I had no idea the power this dress held until my daughter literally “twirled” the second she put it on. As I mentioned, she is only 2 and I’m not making this up. It was one of the most special things for me to see how she reacted to the structure of this dress as if it was “made to twirl”.
The super soft no fuss fabric makes the clothes easy to wear and I love how there are no special requirements to dry clean, etc. TwirlyGirl is a family owned business based in LA and makes all of their clothes hand made in the USA.
TwirlyGirl was recently featured in the Wall Street Journal for their popularity of “modesty shorts” under their dresses. Active girls will not be limited to a care free lifestyle on the playground or anywhere else while wearing a dress! What a wonderful thing!
