I have been an avid fan of the Stokke brand since my son was born over 6 years ago. Their modern approach to children’s products has always intrigued me. Stokke consistently exceeds my expectations and keeps me hanging on to their next great innovation. Not only are Stokke products stylish and sleek but they are functional and realistic for the modern family.
I have been raising my growing family in NYC since 2008. As soon as one stroller is ready to retire it seems as if a new addition finds their way to our family. I have been using the Stokke Crusi with my daughter since she was born. The spacious bassinet kept us nice and safe as we made our way to our first doctor’s appointment 4 days after she was born.
Recently we switched over to the new Stokke Trailz stroller. The All Terrain frame and new tires really peaked my curiosity. I am constantly maneuvering around the city in all weather conditions and the added bonus of air filled rubber tires has really made the difference in our daily travels.
The Stokke Trailz has all the favorite features of it’s predecessors including my favorite option which is the super high seat which can be forward facing or rear facing. I admit, I kept my daughter facing me for a little longer than maybe she should have but the bonding having our eyes almost eye level is HUGE and special to us both (ok maybe a little more for me!)
The high handlebars make it very easy for a tall mom like me to stroll around and the underneath storage basket is also a huge added bonus. It is very easy to reach, holds items extremely well, and never drags on the ground if overloaded.
The sleek stylish design never hurts and Stokke has a myriad of designs and special add on kits in which you can really enhance your stroller. I love the bright colors and never want to be lost in the sea of black strollers. With summer approaching the canopy houses a terrific mesh air vent so your baby or toddler will not overheat in the hot summer months.
The Stokke Trailz strolls effortlessly around my city streets and is my go to stroller. I can’t stress the importance of connecting with your child as they sit high off the ground with a footrest that gives the proper support. If my daughter happens to take one of her rare stroller naps, the Stokke seat easily reclines for her comfort.
All add on’s are available for the Trailz such as the infant seat which is the carry cot, a nice cozy foot muff for winter, a parasol for summer and a cup holder is a must have!
