Recently, my husband and I saw Kinky Boots on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in Times Square. Being 10 days away from my due date of our 2nd child, it was one of the last things we did together before the baby arrived!
We both enjoyed this show so much and I can’t wait to tell everyone I know about it!
Of course it has a stand out line up starting with my favorite Pop Icon Cyndi Lauper who wrote the music for the show! Also, anytime your hear Harvey Fierstein is involved in a musical it will be a hit!!! Kinky Boots proved to be no different and I loved every minute of it!!
The cast was outstanding and the music and scenery were fantastic! Kinky Boots is a story about a young man who has just inherited his deceased father’s shoe factory. It is a moving story about how the most unexpected person can impact and change your life when you least expect i! I loved seeing the transformation of Charlie’s character and the battles he encounters with himself, and others as it plays out on stage. It goes without saying sometimes it pays to be unique and different to succeed!
Kinky Boots truly has it all! Comedy, drama, high energy signing/dancing and something for everyone! Be sure not to miss Kinky Boots now playing on Broadway.
